Although our program has only one course directly focused on international student affairs programs led by a professor in international education, students can opt to conduct practica and independent studies in this area.  Typically each year, three to four students sign-up for practica or independent studies in international-related topics.  We attempt to be inclusive in international-related topics in many of our classes, particularly survey and theory courses.  Students in our program have also taken a number of independent study trips to both England and Belize, led by various faculty members.  In addition, students in our SAHE program have an opportunity to partner with other disciplines on our campus in exploring issues in the international arena.
