Reaching the world through education

Loyola University, Chicago

Graduate Program in Education

Both masters and doctoral students in our program can conduct research on international dimensions of student affairs work.  Plus, any student can elect to enroll in an independent study course focusing on international student affairs work.  A student may also elect to combine an independent study and graduate courses in comparative-international education in addition to a study abroad experience at our Rome, Italy campus to form cognate in the area.  Loyola has a campus in Rome, Italy and we offer graduate level classes there in an intensive format during July of each year.  Several higher education students take advantage of this opportunity each summer. These classes do not specifically focus content on student affairs work but they provide a wonderful study abroad experience for students.

We place students into both paid and unpaid internships/externships in international student affairs offices and have had students from Thailand, Mexico and Cambodia enroll in our program.
