At NYU’s program, it is not a cognate but part of their capstone requirement to earn global points through courses with an international component.  We include an international dimension in most of our courses, particularly the core courses, and have managed to mainstream internationalization in our program.  In the future, we hope to add a dimension where students can be linked to practitioners in another country.  We also currently offer a study abroad opportunity every summer and have a substantial number of international students enrolled in our program.
