What Financial Support is Available?

Financial Support for Students

The program in visual impairment often receives state or federal funding that supports student tuition or scholarships. Most of the scholarship money requires students to sign an affidavit assuring that they will work as professionals in visual impairment. If they do not fulfill these conditions, they will be required to pay the money back to the state and federal governments.

Most of our financial aid comes from competitive grants, and availability varies from year to year. If you would like to know what options are currently available, e-mail Dr. Jane Erin.

Student loans and other financial assistance options also are available through the University of Arizona Financial Aid Office and the College of Education, which has scholarships designated especially for its students.
