GENERAL QUESTIONS:  
1.  What is an Equity Assistance Center? An Equity Assistance Center is a technical assistance center that is funded by the U. S. Department of Education under Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.  We provide assistance in the areas of race, gender, and national origin equity to public school districts to promote equal educational opportunities.
2.  How many Equity Assistance Centers are There? There are ten Equity Assistance Centers nationwide, serving ten geographical regions.
3.  What area does WREN serve? We serve the states of Arizona, California, and Nevada.
4.  Does WREN also work with charter schools and state education agencies? Yes.
5.  What services do you provide? Training, technical assistance, professional development, and resources.
